This is a major event on the Club’s annual calendar raising $15,000 in 2024. The date for 2025 has still to be finalised.
The Longest Day of Golf
Each year, in December, a team of SHGC members participate in the Longest Day of Golf event over 72 holes run by the Cancer Council. In the first year there were 3 participants, in 2023 there were 15 collectively raising over $37,000. In 2024, there were 43 participants raising $67,052 and claiming 2nd place on the Leaderboard. What a fantastic effort. We hope that participation will to continue to grow for this worthy cause.
Shoalhaven Heads Primary School
This annual event will be held on Sunday 3 August in 2024.
Col Waller Day
This annual event in Col’s memory supports NOAHS provding inclusive services and programs for childrenand families in the Shoalhaven, Illawarra and Eurobodalla. The date for 2025 has still to be announced.
Lindsay Wellard Cup
Golf and Bowls Day
This fun annual event, scheduled for Monday 15 December in 2025, where players take to the course at the Golf Club and then to the greens at the Bowling Club is fiercely contested between the two clubs with all proceeds to Karinya Palliative Care in Berry.
