The Club’s 18- hole links-style course is situated in the seaside village of Shoalhaven Heads, approximately two hours drive south of Sydney. The course is bounded by Coolangatta Mountain in the west and the Pacific Ocean to the east. It’s just a ten minute drive to the historic town of Berry where cafes and specialist shops delight the tourist. A further thirty minute drive south and you are in the world renowned Jervis Bay where dolphin and whale watching charters are popular and beaches boast the whitest sands in the world.

The Club is open 7 days and has a fully stocked Pro Shop, the bistro-style Links 19 restaurant and a licensed bar.

Weekly competitions are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Visitors are always welcome for competition and social play.

An amazing 45,000 rounds of golf were played in 2023, including around 25,000 in competition. The popular Heads Hotel Summer Competition, played over 9 holes during the summer months (no GA Handicap required) contributed another 3,000 rounds.

“SHOALHAVEN HEADS is a stunning par-71, 18-hole links-style course retaining the natural dune contours blending with the seaside heritage protected native bush which is part of Seven Mile Beach National Park.

Featuring many large undulating greens, a number of short but tricky par-4s coupled with its  proximity to the ocean with the consistent sea breezes it presents a true test of golf.

Due to its sand base, the course holds up well during periods of protracted rain and is often one of the very few clubs in the area to remain open at all times. There is a fully stocked Pro Shop and a large fleet of golf carts for hire.

A testament to the quality of the course, Shoalhaven Heads Golf Club has now successfully hosted four major events over recent years – from the NSW Mid-Amateur Golf Championships in 2019, the NSW Senior Amateur Championships in 2021 to the 2022 NSW Country Championships and the 2023 NSWVGA Matchplay Championships.

There is a range of quality accommodation within the Shoalhaven Heads village that will satisfy any visiting golfers, and many more options when taking in the surrounding and popular district of Berry.

More recently the club has expanded its catering offering and opened its Links 19 Restaurant, complementing the club’s licensed bar, with snacks and cafe-style a la carte meals.

The restaurant also caters for group bookings and events. Along with the 200 sq m. deck that overlooks the 18th green, presenting an ideal location for members and visitors to relax over a drink or meal.”
