Today was the end of the road for our representative teams in this years Golf NSW pennants matches.
Congratulations to the A Pennants Team who qualified for the semi-final at St Georges Basin this morning. Unfortunately they came up against a very strong Links Shell Cove Team and were beaten 4.5 : 1.5. Lloyd Herron had an excellent win 5 & 3 and John McFarlane managed to square his match. Mark Johnston, Ed McLean, Will Ockenden and Nathan Rees tried their best but were all defeated. Congratulations also to Cooper & Lachie Maddinson, Steven Walda, Jack Brand, Ross Rees and Ian Asbury who have all represented the club this season.
The B Pennants wrapped up their season last weekend. Thanks to James Rigney, Rob Walker, Adrian Wedd, Glen Welsh, Matt Shirlaw, Peta Griffin, Lee Maddinson, Justin Mangan, Pete Connor and Ian Gollop who all played for the team this year.
The C Pennants were unable to produce the same form from last year when they won the Pennant. Thanks to Ben Lancaster, Jo Webber, Barney Kingdom, Vincent Muller, Michael Troy, Brett Lawson, Garry Podmore, Steve Mauger, Kevin Franklin, Ben Pritchett, Matt Florance, Tracy Casinelli and Alex Kershaw who turned up every week to play their best.
Finally there was the White Horse Cup Team who were ably represented by Matthew Page, Sharon McCarthy, Garry DeBanke, Ian Fox, Clint Kennnedy, Matthew McAlister, Stephen Scott, Kye Hawkins, Adele Abbott, Alan Hollis and Daniel Troy.
